Windows Boot Error Messages

One day your PC was working fine and the next you get a Windows boot error on startup. These can be fairly common and in most occasions easy to resolve.

The first thing I would suggest is to unplug your PC from all power for about 10-15 minutes. Then plug your PC back in and try again. I have know this to fix certain types of PC boot problems. If you have a laptop then you will need to remove the battery to try this.

OK so removing the power didn't work, even after leaving for several hours. The first thing to do is make a note of the exact error. Some Windows Boot error messages are very similar but the solution could be very different.

Below is a short list of some of the common errors I have seen. Click the links to try and resolve your issue.
